At Cleverbit Software we take our corporate social responsibility seriously, and team up with organisations is different spheres of society which make very valid contributions to improve the world we live in.
One of these organisations is the St John’s Rescue Corps which aims to meet the need of a civil defense unit in Malta by training and managing adult volunteers fully trained in rescue and first aid.
One of the areas that the St John’s Rescue Corps is active in is the water rescue division which consists of volunteers who assist with beach patrols, search and rescue for missing persons at sea, support beach or under water clean-ups, and accompany water sports enthusiasts to ensure their safety. They are also present at private and public water events including beach parties to ensure the safety of those presents.
At Cleverbit Software we assisted the St John’s Rescue Corps by matching the donations made by members of our team, which donations helped the Corps to purchase a rescue RIB. This gave the St John’s Rescue Corps the possibility to assist better when duty calls – both preventive or rescue operations.
We are very proud to have played a part in the success of this very worthy cause.
